Living out faith

Helping Others

We believe faith is meant to be lived. From time to time the Network looks for ways to support Christian people and causes doing good work — whether that's a helping hand, a small donation, or simply connecting someone with the right people.

1. Why we do it

The Christian Broker Network exists first of all to support Christian brokers in their faith and work. But fellowship doesn't stop at conversation — it naturally flows into action.

When we hear of a person, family or small Christian cause that needs a little help to get moving, we want to be the kind of community that responds. Not because we have deep pockets, but because we have willing hearts and the conviction that small acts of generosity can be multiplied when people pull together.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." — Galatians 6:9

2. How we do it

We keep this simple, transparent and member-led. Any member can suggest someone or something worth supporting. The Network then considers the need together and decides how best to help — whether that's a one-off gift, a few hours of volunteer time, or a short-term project the community can rally around.

  • Giving money. Occasional pooled donations to a Christian cause or person in need, with no pressure on anyone to give more than they can.
  • Giving time. Members offering their skills, contacts or labour to help a good initiative move forward.
  • Giving encouragement. Sometimes the most valuable thing is prayer, a listening ear, or an introduction to someone who can help.

Every effort is voluntary, non-commercial and kept accountable within the Network. There are no fees taken, no middlemen, and no expectation of anything in return.

3. People we're looking to help

We're open to a wide range of Christian people and causes, but the ones that tend to fit best are small, local, and doing good work without a big organisation behind them. Examples might include:

  • A Christian family going through a hard season who needs practical support.
  • A small ministry or mission getting off the ground and needing seed help.
  • A community project — food support, youth work, pastoral care — run by believers.
  • A broker or their family facing illness, loss or another significant challenge.

We don't fund political campaigns, commercial ventures, or anything that doesn't align with a Christian witness of love, integrity and service.

Know someone we could help?

If you're a member and you know of a person or cause that fits what we're about, we'd love to hear about it. You can share the need through the members' forum or send a private note to Steve.
